Outputs

After the wells have been tied, the results can be returned to Petrel or Avary in the Well Ties Output step. The required QC logs can be selected using the drop downs.

In Petrel, on pressing the Send to Petrel button the selected QC logs will be send back to Petrel as new global well log versions. The TWT log will hold the new TDR, and if Activate Well Tie TDR in Petrel is selected, then the TDR for each well will be updated to use that TWT log.

In Avary, on pressing the Send to Avary button in Well Ties a new set of tied wells is generated, with the workflow name (the name of the Well Ties element) as the suffix. These wells will have the TDR as created by Well Ties, contain any QC logs created along the way, and optionally moved to the optimal tie location.

For both Avary and Petrel the wavelets used in the ties, including any created by the White method, and any average wavelets will be exported. In Petrel the wavelets will be added to the inputs tree in a new folder. In Avary the wavelets are available from the secondary output connector (to update the wavelets in Avary, press the refresh button in the Well Ties element).
